Junior Wells – Come On In This House

On this 1996 recording the veteran blues harmonica player Junior Wells is teamed up with a stellar lineup of blues guitarists: Alvin Youngblood Hart, Tab Benoit, Sonny Landreth, Derek Trucks, Bob Margolin, John Mooney and Corey Harris. They accompany Wells on slide guitars as he performs vintage Chicago and Delta blues from the repertoires of Rice Miller, Little Walter, Tampa Red, Arthur “Big Boy” Crudup and Wells himself. The result “stands beside the singer/harmonica player’s finest work.” (Q magazine).
